Boy's mutilated body found in Jakarta

The mutilated body of a boy was found inside a black plastic bag on the side of the Bekasi highway in Jakarta on Friday morning. Police believed the boy was sexually assaulted before he was murdered.

“There were signs of sexual abuse,” Cakung police chief Comr. Yudhi Sulistyo Wahid told tempointeraktif.com. The boy was estimated to be around 10 or 11 years old.

The body was found with the lower limbs and head hacked off. The head is yet to be found.

Local residents found the body inside a plastic bag, which had been put inside a cardboard box, at around 7 a.m. on the side of the Bekasi highway near the kilometer 27 marker at Ujung Menteng, Cakung.
