Pontianak, West Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - Law and Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar said urine tests conducted recently had shown three or four of his ministry`s employees had been using illicit drugs.

"Three to four officers at the General Directorate of Immigration proved to have been on drugs," the minister said here Friday.
The results of urine tests conducted in Sumatra, Jakarta and Surabaya had shown no prison staff had been abusing drugs.
Ministry employees proven to have committed drug abuse would receive strong sanctions, he said.
"And we will examine them further to determine whether they are only users or dealers," he said, adding that those involved in drug dealing would be fired.
Earlier, Patrialis had instructed all units in his ministry to take urine tests from employees, including prison staff. The measure was taken following the discovery that the warden of the Nusakambangan state penitentiary was involved in a drug trafficking syndicate.
