Five poisoned by mushroom

PURWOKERTO, Central Java: Five members of one family in Beji village, Kedungbanteng district, Banyumas, have been poisoned after consuming mushrooms Wednesday evening.

The victims were husband and wife Mursidi Rasim, 60, and Muyinah, 52, and their three children Murtini, 32, Munjirin, 30, and Waryo, 24.

The family was rushed to Wijayakusuma hospital for treatment in Purwokerto.

The mushrooms were picked by Waryo on Tuesday from the family's farm and were cooked before consumption.
