Tolak
Angin, a brand of jamu (traditional Indonesian herbal medicine) made by PT
Sidomuncul, won the Digital Marketing Award 2011 for its performance in the
digital world.
The award
was handed out by Marketing Magazine in recognition of brands at the cutting
edge of marketing.
Sales of
the product have grown 50 percent, while the Tolak Angin for children line has
seen sales grow 20 percent, Tolak Angin product manager Retna Widawati said
Friday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The product
has also recently become been exported for sale in China.
