The Dutch health council is concerned at the soaring rate of prescriptions for Ritalin, a medicine used on children who have been diagnosed with hyperactivity.

Almost 4.5% of Dutch children aged four to 18 are taking methylphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin, but many of them do not benefit and may not actually have ADHD, the council says.

The number of Ritalin prescriptions has quadrupled in recent years, the council says in a report drawn up for junior health minister Martin van Rijn.

'We need to pay far more attention to what healthcare providers, schools and employers are doing to solve the problems facing young people,' the council says.

Pressure

The council says the pressure on young people and growing intolerance of what could be considered abnormal behaviour is driving up demand. And while the medication does have a short-term effect, in the long term it leads to sleeping problems, headaches and other issues.

Van Rijn has told the council he agrees the increasing number of prescriptions for Ritalin is a problem. 'We have to be alert to the trend,' he said. 'And we do not know all there is to know about the effect of the drug, particularly in the long term.'

This is the attribute of what you would call "a child of new consciousness," which you have labeled with a color - indigo. The child remembers who they are. They are conceptual, and you believe they have to be taught from scratch! Hardly! They remember! Do you understand what is taking place? We told you this last time, but we want to review something with you: The animal on the prairie drops its calf and within hours, the calf is up, running with the herd. Did you know that the calf instantly knows who its enemies are, what water to drink that doesn't smell right, and what berries to eat that are not poison? Where did that come from? How did that infant animal know these things? The answer is that this information was biologically inherited. You call it instinct. But when you have a Human baby - nothing! It doesn't know anything but that it's hungry. It requires 20 years of teaching! Aren't you tired of that? Did you ever think about why the animals have so much knowledge to begin with and you have so little? Does that seem correct for the top of the evolutionary ladder? It's time for that to change.

You're starting to see it, even with the indigos. They come in knowing. That's why they're so impatient. You're trying to teach them things they already know instinctively. Just like the calf on the prairie, they come in knowing. Some of them try to teach you. That doesn't always go well. That was question three....."

Question: I’ve been working with young children for many years as a first- and second-grade teacher near Toronto, Canada. I have yet to clearly see any of the characteristics attributed to the Indigo Children. Is it possible that Indigo behavior manifests differently nearer the Poles?

Answer: Dear one, this is indeed so. The energy of magnetics is very different in certain colder areas near the Poles, and we have indicated this in past channellings. In addition, your area is magnetically different—even from the western areas of your

own country. All of this changes the potential consciousness of Humans, should they wish to give intent for it. Do you think it’s a coincidence that the equator carries such

a dark potential in so many areas of Humanity? There hasn’t been much Human thought on this. 

You have Indigos in your classes, but what is different is that the area where you live is more attuned for the parents to know how to intuitively raise them. Remember the axiom of the Indigo: Their seemingly difficult behavior patterns are in direct relationship to their home and school environments. Indigos are not difficult when they are honored and given choice. You do this intuitively in your classroom, and many around you are also doing it at home. This is not the case a few hundred kilometers below you, or even west of you, and the mainstream news reports bear this out.

Blessed are those who are passionate for the children of Earth, for they understand that they are children as well.
